Today my house in an explosion of clothing.
I am not exaggerating in the slightest.
Monday is always laundry day around here, so that’s going on as usual. On top of that, I’m sorting through everyone’s clothes to store or get rid of things that have been outgrown and figure out what wardrobe holes need to be filled.
Everyone needs pants.
(No surprise there, since none of them wear pants for like eight months of the year.)
I know I can keep most of Mila’s outgrown stuff, since Margot already tries to steal her sister’s clothes and will be thrilled when they are finally hers. But what about everything Margot and Ryan have outgrown? Not knowing if/when we’ll have another baby complicates the sorting process. Do I hang on to things for another couple of years, because…maybe? Do I donate them or give them to a friend who could use them now? I only have so much storage space, so it’ll probably be a combination of the two.
This is not my favorite chore.
At least the kids are having fun.
