I didn’t blog at all last week. It’s been a while since that happened. I’d feel bad about it, except I’ve been “doing the work” in other areas of my life so it’s not like I was a total slacker. Blogging just wasn’t a priority, and I’m learning to allow myself to let non-priorities go so I can focus on the more important stuff. Plus three out of five of us got sick, which throws everything off.
This week, though, is gonna be a busy one. It started with an early parent/teacher conference before school. When I came home, Margot was drawing pictures of the family.
She’s got such a distinct style and pays particular attention to eye color. Hers are always green + brown + blue because they are hazel and sparkly, as she likes to remind everyone.
This blueberry nugget is making progress with his physical therapy. (Did I mention he started that last month? He did! It’s great!) Not always as quickly as I’d like, but progress is progress. We set a goal to get him pulling to stand in the next few months. He’s working on it.
In other developmental news, he’s gotten really good at finding crayons, coloring on the floor, then stuffing the offending color in his mouth.
Little stinker. I sure like him.
