This recap is long overdue. (I blame pink eye. And bronchitis. And potty training. And vacation planning. And general day-to-day crazy that frequently keeps me from blogging as often as I want to.) It’s been like three weeks since the event and already I’m missing all my bloggy friends, both new and old. I can’t wait until we can party it up again.
The evening was perfect. We ate delicious cake (see if you can spot this one that I brought!) and drank flavored water from mason jars. With paper straws. Of course.
There was a photo booth.
Things got a sassy pretty quickly. (Check the signage…that was Lydia‘s handiwork.)

Lovely as all the decor and food and activities were, this party was really about the people. They are gloriously weird and creative and inspiring and hilarious and smart and beautiful and kind and I want to keep every single one of them.

The biggest of thanks to David for making me a killer flower crown then happily sending me off sans babies for a much-needed night out. Cake is good, and friends are better, but that husband of mine is my favorite of them all.
