Prepping to teach gospel doctrine certainly makes for easier svithage. Hooray for that.
This time the lesson got me thinking about one of the greatest miracles I’ve ever experienced. See here, here, and here to read the story.
“Behold, are not the things God hath wrought marvelous in our eyes?… Who shall say that it was not a miracle that by his word the heaven and the earth should be; and by the power of his word man was created of the dust of the earth; and by the power of his word have miracles been wrought? And who shall say that Jesus Christ did not do many mighty miracles? And there were many mighty miracles wrought by the hands of the apostles.
“And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, I say unto you he changeth not; if so he would cease to be God; and he ceaseth not to be God, and is a God of miracles.” (Mormon 9: 16-19)
It is good to be mindful of the miracles in our lives: those we’ve seen, those we are experiencing now, and those we’ll be witness to someday. Because God changeth not. There are miracles yet to come.
Thanks for the reminder, Moroni.

I challenged my class to look for miracles last week. As my friend Laura recounted her near death experience on I-40, I was once again grateful for miracles and God's hand in our everyday lives.
