Believe it or not, I really am keeping up with my 30 for 30. I’ve worn nothing but what I included on my list, with the exception of flip flops while we drove to and from the ‘slow for Thanksgiving and a couple tank tops for modesty’s sake as my shirts get shorter and shorter. With only a few days left, I’m feeling awfully proud of myself for sticking to it.
That said, I’m SO tired of taking photos of myself. How do those style blogger people do it, day in and day out? Does it not ever get old? Because it’s getting old for me. Has gotten old. Is old. Whatever.
So here’s the new plan: if nothing else, I’ll write a post listing the clothing I wore on the days I didn’t photograph. If I get around to it and the mood strikes, I’ll play dress-up and recreate the ones I’ve skipped. If I don’t, I’m not going to feel bad about it. Just knowing that I will finish what I started is enough for me this time around.
(Oooh! What if I made Jen paper dolls and you could create your own 30 for 30 outfits based on my lists to see what I looked like? That would be AWESOME. And super time consuming. Maybe not.)
I’d like to get back to regular posting, though, now that I’m back from my mini-vacation to the padres’. I have “before” photos to share of a room in our house you’ve yet to see, I should probably give you an updated look at the master bedroom, and I have a few crafty projects in queue that I’d like to share. Plus there’s always random Jen word vomit that I could spew. Oh, and svithes! I hadn’t realize how much I missed svithing. So maybe there will be more of those too.
I know. I’m a little ADD when it comes to the ol’ blog. I’ve made my peace with it.
Just as I’ve made my peace with this lovely photo David took of me for a goofy project we helped my mom put together for my little brother. (He comes home from his mission in just a few weeks! Huzzah!)
This is how I roll: crazy eyes all outta control. …I’m pregnant and I know it.
(And now I’ve planted an LMFAO earworm in your brain. You’re welcome.)
shirt: J Crew / tank: Target / pants: Target / boots: Nordstrom / cardigan (not shown but still worn): GAP
