Some of Mila’s latest gems for your amusement.
Me: “Really? No green anywhere on that book?”
Mila: “No. Maybe it disappeared. I fink it just vanished into the air.”
Watching me pull some clothes out of my latest Stitch Fix box (more on that later)…
“Well that shirt is amazing!”
Singing along with Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” (don’t judge me)…
“Daisy duke zucchini on top! Fresh pizza, now get your hands up!”
Singing “I Love to See the Temple” (See, we’re not total heathens!)…
“This is my secret beauty.”
Whispering in the bathroom after doing some business…
“Good job sweetie. Good job. I’m so proud of me.”
“Margot, you’re a mischibitch missbitch.”
Walking into my room in her latest ensemble…
Mila: “Do you like my outfit?”
Me: “It certainly has a lot of layers.”
Mila: “Yes! I have my ballerina clothes, and under dat is my swimmin’ suit, and under dat is one underpants, and under dat is tights, and under dat is jammies, and under dat is…more underpants!”
After I tossed her baby doll off the bed so I could tickle her, she threw a MONSTROUS fit. Evidently you don’t mess with Pink Baby, because a few days later…
“Mama, ‘member when you frowed my baby on da floor? Why you do dat? Please don’t frow my pink baby. She is special to me.”
Me: “Where did all your weirdness come from?”
Mila: “I don’t know but it happens all da time!”
Oh, how this girl keeps us laughing! I think we’re gonna have to keep her.

That California Girls adaptation is my kind of jam. I'll raise my hands for pizza any day.

Hahahhah. I laughed out loud at all of these. My favorites were the mischibitch one and whispering "I'm so proud of me". Oh man. She's great.

She asks ALL THE TIME if I am proud of her, so I've taken to preempting her and saying it frequently. Don't know what it is, but she really needs to hear it…even from herself, I guess! Silly kid.
