I’ve been trying to get my big girl camera out more often. Somehow I stumbled upon the knowledge that my DSLR can connect to my phone, which in turn can be used as a remote. I’m sure there are other things it can do, but that tiny revelation was mind blowing. (Have I actually tried it? No I have not. But I could!) Then I found out it can take time-lapse videos, which was really fun to play with when my seedlings were still in the house and growing so fast.
It seems my fancy pants camera has a lot more capabilities than I thought. That doesn’t surprise me, really. If anything, it makes me curious and excited to play around with it more.
That said, my favorite thing to do with my camera will probably always be taking simple photos of our everyday life. Sure, I’d like to master astrophotography, get a macro lens to play with, and see what other functions my DSLR has that I’ve never explored. But mostly? Even if they’re not artistic or even technically good, I’m happy just to take photos like these.
Something about this one gives me major Normal Rockwell vibes.
And Luke’s face here kills me dead.
