Happy day-after-Mother’s Day!
We don’t usually make a big deal out of Mother’s Day. However, this year I treated myself to a “Mommy + Me” photo shoot.
Since Let Me See You Sparkle Photography offers EXTREMELY reasonably-priced themed mini sessions throughout the year, I pre-ordered this one way back in January. So worth it. And not just because I adore the woman behind the camera.
Chrissy magically earns the trust and love of every child she meets, which means she can make this kind of thing happen.
I mean, come on.
She sent me these images and I cried. They are precious to me already. How much more precious they’ll be when my littles aren’t so little anymore.
Doesn’t every mom wish she had more pictures of herself with her babies? And how many moms are critical of how they look in photos, so they wind up taking all the pictures instead of being in them?
This kind of photo shoot is the perfect solution. All we did was hang out in this darling tent together. And we only had to be in front of the camera for 20 minutes. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon, in my opinion.
Friends, if you can afford it, spend a few dollars on a professional photographer. If you can’t, ask a friend with a DSLR. Set up a tripod + remote situation, or use the timer on your phone.
However you do it, find someone to take a few images of you just being with your kids. Or with your own mom. Or with your dearest friends. Take some pictures with any + all of those people who love you, not because you dress impeccably and have flawless hair and know how to get your angles + lighting right, but because you are YOU.
The memories you will make and the moments you will capture will become priceless to you. 100% money back guarantee. (Note: I am not wealthy enough to actually gaurantee that.) But seriously. You know what I’m saying.
Get in the frame, friends. You will not regret it.
