We went to Tempe Marketplace today, which isn’t unusual. We go there often. Today we skipped Target, thought, and went to the little outdoor mall part because I wanted to check out the new Charming Charlie’s. I didn’t see anything I couldn’t live without, but it’s always fun to browse, and Amelia LOVED it. The girl’s a bit of a magpie anyway, so she thought all the sparkles and bright colors were pretty much the best thing ever.
After perusing the merchandise, we wandered aimlessly for a while until I noticed that she kept reaching for the fountains when we walked by. I found a shady spot, parked the stroller, and we watched the water and ate some Goldfish. After a few minutes of seeing how delighted she was by the tiny waterfall, I figured why not, got her out of the stroller and let her splash around a bit.
She had so much fun. I got soaked.
It was super cute.
By the way, it is NOT easy to take a baby’s picture while also holding her close enough to the water to play but not so close that she dives in headfirst. Just in case you were wondering.
