Late Saturday night, David and Amelia and I drove the three hours up to Winslow to be with my family on Sunday. We would have left earlier, but I wanted to go to a photography workshop that evening, which I’ll tell you more about next time because it was rad. David maneuvered us safely through the forest, carefully avoiding what must have been the biggest herd of elk ever that had decided to hang out alongside–and sometimes in the middle of–a 20-mile-or-so stretch of the highway. Once we arrived, we grabbed a few hours of sleep, then spent all of Sunday with people we love.
There were darling babies…
Miss Chloe is such a charmer |
Mila loves Grandma Terri |
…and their doting papas…
My two favorite people in the whole world |
Olivia is getting so big! |
…and there was lots and lots of laughing.
Isn’t my grandmother beautiful? |
And so is my sister-in-law Emily. (Don’t be mad, Em. This shot was just too cute.) |
My only regret is that I didn’t get photos of everyone. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer. We always have so much fun together.

Don't fret, I am not mad. I love all of these pictures. You are so talented. We wish you could have stayed longer too. Love you!

Aw, thanks. Maybe we'll get to see you on your way through town…?

Don't we, though? I think it's time we got EVERYONE together. It's been way too long.
