For the hubs on our 3rd anniversary

Dear David,

Here is a list of some weird things I love about you:

1) You have fuzzy bunny hair.

2) You always miss spots around your chin scar when you shave.

3) You chase harmless stray cats out of our yard.

4) You know the names of all the Star Wars things.

5) You can’t spell.

6) You don’t smell bad, like, EVER. Even when you haven’t showered for a few days. (Except for sometimes your feet. But everyone’s feet smell bad now and then, so you get a pass there.)

7) You watch airplanes instead of the road when you are driving and they fly nearby.

8) You put too many chocolate chips in your cookies.

9) You asked for an ice axe for Christmas last year, even though we live in Phoenix and your chances of ever using it were pretty slim.

10) You like Anya and Dru.

11) You let me put my cold feet on you in the winter.

12) You will watch depressing old foreign movies with me. And you usually like them.

13) You breathe really hard on my neck and it freaks me out and I get all spazzy and I kind of hate it but you do it anyway because you think it’s funny.

14) You tease me for being afraid of spiders but you are afraid of snakes (which I actually think are pretty cool).

15) You dance funny.

And yes, I also love how hard-working and honest and stubborn and brilliant and funny and sweet you are. But it’s all the weird little things that make you you. I’m so lucky to have married someone whose weirdness is compatible with mine.
