Amelia: 196 weeks + Margot: 98 weeks
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: God bless whoever invented the car cart.
Margot usually starts out driving with Mila but ends up sitting in the seat by me. (And yes, that tutu goes EVERYWHERE with us. It’s not a battle worth fighting.)
Either way and despite what Mila’s face is saying to the contrary, everyone is much happier at the grocery store when we can snag one of these bad boys.
Including me. Amen.

Funny that you should post this–I LOATHE the car carts! I can never fit everything into the shortened cart and they always seem so much more difficult to manuever (then again, it's been like 4 kids since I had someone who would stay in there the entire time, so that colors my perceptions).

I do hate the shortened cart, and I usually end up putting things in the empty seat(s). I feel pretty lucky that my kids stay put so far. We'll see how that goes…Margot already wants to get down half the time. She doesn't get to, but she wants to.

PS–she is rocking that tutu. Don't sweat it at all. (Luke went to the grocery store today in full-on monkey costume…tail and ears and everything.)

I agree with Rachel on being the worst thing ever to steer and not enough room to actually shop! But I love them to keep my kids entertained! I love her in a tutu! So cute!

Fortunately our grocery store keeps them in good shape so they're not really hard to steer, they're just big and awkward. And I prefer that to whiny kids trying to run away from me.
