Yesterday David shared this gem with me: The 50 Best Fictional Bands. Considering my love of a) parody, b) not-so-great-music that is secretly awesome, and c) lists in general, I found the whole thing to be utterly delightful. Christopher Guest! Tobias Fünke! Killer Tofu! Wild Stallyns! Scrantonicity AND Scrantonicity II! DR. TEETH AND THE ELECTRIC MAYHEM!
Look me in the eye and tell me truthfully that this is not a thing of beauty. You can’t. You can’t do it. And to prove it to you, I give you what is arguably the crown jewel of the whole list. If you are not weeping tears of mirth or squealing in delight (or both, as I did) in the first 30 seconds, you have no soul.
Oh, Uncle Jesse. Bless you.

Okay, that was just really, really, really excellent. And I totally would've put the Folksmen in the top 5. That's one of my favorite albums of all time.

I remember this episode when this music video came out. It was, and still is, epic.
Terri says
Wow! No words for this one. However, my mouth did gape open for a full 3 minutes.

I would just like to point out how awesome it is that my mother just watched all 3 minutes of a John-Stamos-as-Uncle-Jesse music video.
Love you, Mom!
