“There’d be no distance that could hold us back.”
Morgan Harper Nichols is marvelous and you should follow her on Instagram, if only for gems like the New Year bingo card I mentioned at the top of the episode.
I adore everything Kendra (aka The Lazy Genius) does, but her podcast episode The Lazy Genius Loses Weight is some of her absolute best work. It’s not what you think. Although, if you know how I feel about diets and losing weight, it might be exactly what you think.
If you need a better perspective on body image and diet culture, Beauty Redefined is a good place to start.
You may also want to check out Tiffany Roe on Instagram or look into some of her online Mindful Counseling courses. She talks about body image too, as well as expectations and perfectionism and boundaries…all things to consider as you set good, kind goals for yourself this new year.
I have used and loved the weekly planners from She Plans for the last few years, but the design is very different this year so I’m trying something new. So far I love my Get To Work Book, and I’ve heard good things about Agendio planners as well.
For some perspective on mindless hustling, see episode 2 of this podcast. To connect your current goals with your secret, silly, but legitimate dreams, see episode 3. To remind yourself that your goals don’t have to be based on anyone else’s goals or life or any of it, see episode 4. And to remember that even this season of goal setting and planning will shift into something different, see episode 10.
You can sign up for the FREE Gratitude On Purpose course for a couple more weeks before I close it for good. It’s a good one, I promise.
