There are two things to know about spring break around here:
1) All of my kids will be home with me for over two weeks and David will be out of town for part of that time.
2) The weather around here is GORGEOUS.
Point one could make me a crazy person, but point two will be our saving grace.
I MADE PLANS Y’ALL.
We have something to do almost every single day of spring break. The zoo, botanical garden, and parks are all calling our names. I’m hosting a low-key pie party play date later this week. There are bikes to ride and snacks to eat and a sandbox in the back yard. We even have a big family adventure on the calendar. And if I run out of ideas, my friend Tammy recently shared a whole list of great idease for spring break in Arizona that I can use.
I am not sitting back and letting this spring break get away from me. We’re gonna have fun, dangit!
Of course there will also be days when we stay home and watch movies all day, because I can only be a fun mom for so long before I need a break.
Nevertheless, it’s going to be a good couple weeks. I’ve decided.
So it is written, so it shall be done, right?
Wish us luck!
