Today I was set apart as first counselor in the Primary presidency.
I’ll be teaching the lesson for Sharing Time next week. It’s about showing reverence for sacred places and things. And after having attended Primary for the first time in AGES, I have only one thought:
Reverence might be more than just quietly sitting, but quietly sitting would be a good place to start.

Yeah, Tamsen and I are in the Primary, too. Same thoughts on reverence. Sometimes, I just wish I could bring (and use) a baseball bat.
Lydia says
Love this outfit – the rich colors are delightful.
All the best in your calling! I had to teach my Beehives about reverence and respect a few weeks ago. I guess they weren't paying attention to the lesson when it was taught in primary.
P.S. Love the tights!

Sam: Seriously. It's sad when the Sunbeams are the most well-behaved of the bunch.
Lydia: Thanks and thanks!
Emma Lee says
I had the jr primary pretend to play in imaginary snow and build imaginary snowmen and when they started getting loud, I told them all to pretend to BE the snowman so that they would have to be quiet and still, but this little girl shouted "I CAN'T BE THE SNOWMAN BECAUSE MINE MELTED!!!" and proceeded to cry.
Jen says
That is kind of hilarious. Poor melty snowman-girl.
