Mila Monday: Forty-four Weeks

In the last week or so, my life has gotten…complicated. I’m not yet comfortable sharing details, so “complicated” will have to be sufficient for now.

I drove over to the LDS temple in Mesa today to get some sunshine, fresh air, pretty photos, and–most importantly–peace of mind. Just being near that sacred building calms my soul in a way few things can. Mila and I wandered the grounds for over an hour, looking at bugs and flowers and fountains and things. It was lovely.

I’m still not sure what course of action I should take, but I feel confident that “all shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.”

Because even when things are complicated, with this little bug trying to climb into my lap every chance she gets, how can I not count myself among the blessed?
