I had planned to share more this week, and hopefully I’ll get a post up tomorrow, but then life happened. And by life I mean “road trip recovery,” which always takes longer than I expect, and “ant invasions,” which started the day we got back home and haven’t stopped yet.
Let me just say, it is rather difficult to see, let alone battle, an army of ants that are marching through blue shag carpet. I knew we should’ve redone the flooring in the girls’ room sooner. Alas.
ANYWAY.

“Love languages” have become part of the vernacular. This helps explain why we’re all a little obsessed.

Interesting, and probably often overlooked, things that can slowly kill a marriage. For us, that last one is always a red flag that something needs to change fast.
Confession: I get a little ragey when people insist that your kids should be your #1 priority. I’m firmly in the “put your relationship with your spouse first” camp, and this is why.
An honest look at navigating a transcultural marriage…which is remarkably similar to navigating any marriage. Except for the bit about eating octopus, of course. That’s probably less universal.
