Fridays make me weird

I was going to write a post (mostly for Chrissy) about baking bread, but the bread I intended to bake on Monday kept getting put off and now it’s Friday and I still haven’t made it. So…next week?

Seems like this is the ongoing saga of my life. “I meant to do ____ but then I didn’t so…maybe later?” Ugh. It’s discouraging.

BUT

It’s not all bad. I am editing some photos I took last week for an old friend and they are darling, and today I’m making orange rolls for another friend, and the fruit on Liz Meyer Lemon Tree is just about ripe, and I got to meet my newest nephew last weekend (he is so darling!), and Christmas is sloooowly starting to take over my house.

Also, Mila saw a picture of Charlie Brown and the following conversation ensued:

Mila: Who’s dat guy?
Me: That’s Charlie Brown.
Mila: (after a long pause) He not brown. He white.
Me: …
Mila: Mama, he not brown! He white!
Me: Charlie Brown is just his name, baby.
Mila: (rather insistently) He white.
Me:

And I’m pretty sure my weekend plans beat yours, unless you are also going SCUBA DIVING WITH SANTA, because that’s what I’m doing. Jealous? You should be. You totally should be.
