Sometimes, when the little things are driving me CRAZY, I decide to just be crazy instead of mad. Like today, C Belle kept saying "I'm scared, mommy" (not really scared, just vying for attention while I did the dishes) and nothing I said would make her stop whining. So I started naming things I'm scared of. "Mommy is scared too! I'm scared of girls with blonde hair! I'm scared of… kitty cats with pink bows! I'm scared of rainbow princess cauliflower!". I don't think she appreciates my sarcasm but I sure have fun trying to come up with ridiculous things.
reminds me of the quote from hitchhiker's guide though… "there's no point in driving yourself mad trying to stop yourself going mad. You might as well just give in and save your sanity".

I love that quote. Sometimes getting a little weird really is the best way to combat the crazy!
